Our Anti oxidant rich herbal homemade shampoo made using green tea, Amla ,Reetha, Shikakai , Alovera, rosemary essential oil , extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar
Here is a recipe for a homemade herbal shampoo:
Ingredients:
2 tbsp green tea
1/2 teaspoon amla powder
1/2 teaspoon reetha powder
1 /2 teaspoon shikakai powder
2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
2 drops rosemary essential oil
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
The surfactants used are also natural and toxin free
*Coco betaine (CAPB)
is a mixture of closely related organic
compounds derived from coconut oil.
*Coco glucoside
is a natural surfactant
derived from coconuts.
*Sodium cocoyl isethionate
is a surfactant derived from the
fatty acids in coconut oil.
Instructions:
Brew the green tea and let it cool.
In a bowl, mix together the amla powder, reetha powder, and shikakai powder.
Add the brewed green tea to the bowl and mix well.
Add the aloe vera gel, rosemary essential oil, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar to the bowl and mix until well combined.
Pour the mixture into a bottle or jar and store in the fridge for up to a week.
To use, wet your hair and massage the shampoo into your scalp. Rinse thoroughly.
